Uma mulher teria sido raptada numa rua da cidade de Nova Iorque, nos Estados Unidos da América (EUA) e levada num furgão, informou a Polícia de Nova Iorque.

Na rede social Twitter, a autoridade informou que o incidente ocorreu no bairro de Brooklyn, pela 1h45 de sexta-feira (2h45 em Brasília).

“Uma vítima feminina não identificada foi raptada por um indivíduo masculino não identificado no cruzamento da Avenue W e Stillwell Avenue”, informou a polícia, acrescentando que “o homem colocou a vítima num furgão antes de fugir”.

A vítima teria cerca de 20 anos, pele clara e cabelo comprido. Foi vista pela última vez com uma camisa às riscas, saia azul e sapatos brancas. Já o agressor teria cerca de 30 anos e usava roupa escura.

O rapto foi captado pelas câmaras de videovigilância e as imagens foram divulgadas pela autoridade, para que os cidadãos possam ajudar na investigação.

A woman was reportedly kidnapped on a street in New York City in the United States of America (USA) and taken away in a van, the NYPD said.

On the social network Twitter, the authority reported that the incident occurred in the Brooklyn neighborhood, by 1h45 Friday (2h45 in Brasília).

“An unidentified female victim was abducted by an unidentified male individual at the intersection of Avenue W and Stillwell Avenue,” the police reported, adding that “the man placed the victim in a van before fleeing.”

The victim would have been about 20 years old, light skinned and with long hair. She was last seen wearing a striped shirt, blue skirt and white shoes. The assailant, on the other hand, would be about 30 years old and was wearing dark clothing.

The kidnapping was captured by video surveillance cameras and the images were released by the authority, so that citizens can help in the investigation.
